Frequently Asked Questions

Orders & Shipping

How long until this thing shows up at my door?

We need 1-3 business days to make your order (yes, it's made just for you), then another 5-7 business days to get it to your door. Somewhere in the US. Which is where we ship. See below.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We're a small operation and right now we only ship within the United States. We know. We're sorry. We're working on it. Probably.

How do I know where my order is?

Once your order ships, we'll send you a confirmation email with tracking info. It's not magic, it's just email. But it works.

Returns & Refunds

What if I don't love it?

You have 30 days to return it. It just needs to be in its original condition — meaning, don't click it 10,000 times and then try to return it. Reach out at hello@oddlyclicky.com and we'll sort it out.

How long does a refund take?

Once we get your return, give us 5-7 business days to process it back to your original payment method. We're not sitting on your money. We promise.

Products

Okay but what even is this thing?

It's a 3D-printed phone stand with real clicky mechanical keyboard switches on it — the same kind keyboard nerds obsess over. You prop your phone up, your hands stay busy clicking, and somehow you feel better about your day. It's part desk tool, part fidget toy, all deeply satisfying.

How does it actually work?

You put your phone in the slot. You press the buttons. The buttons go click. The mechanical keyboard switches inside go click-click-click. You feel inexplicably calm. That's it. That's the product.

What's it made of?

PLA — which stands for Polylactic Acid, which is a plant-derived plastic made from things like cornstarch and sugarcane. So it's 3D printed, kind of eco-friendly, and definitely not made from anything gross. You're welcome, planet.

Why does clicking it feel so good?

Honestly? We're not entirely sure. Science probably has something to say about it. What we do know is that the clicky mechanical keyboard switches inside give you that satisfying tactile bump that keyboard enthusiasts have been chasing for decades. We just made it smaller and put a phone in it.

Will it survive heavy clicking?

Yes. That's kind of the whole point. These things are built to be clicked. A lot. Normal clicking only, though — please don't smash the buttons like you're trying to win an argument with your desk. The switches are satisfying, not indestructible. If something goes wrong anyway, email us at hello@oddlyclicky.com and we'll make it right.

Product Notes & Disclaimers

Will mine look exactly like the photos?

Close! But each one is 3D printed individually, so there might be tiny variations in texture, layer lines, or color. Think of it as your clicker being one-of-a-kind. That's a feature, not a bug. (Also, colors look different on different screens. You know how it is.)

Are the measurements exact?

Approximately exact. Which is not the same as exactly exact. 3D printing is precise but not perfect, and measurements may vary slightly. We mention this so you're not surprised, not so you're disappointed.

Are those accessories in the photos included?

No. The phone, the pen, the sticky notes, the aesthetically placed cable — all props. Not included. Unless it specifically says so in the listing, assume it's just the clicker. The beautiful, satisfying clicker.

Will it fit my phone?

The phone slot is 0.75" (about 19mm) wide, which fits most phones including ones with standard cases. If your case is unusually thick or your phone is unusually large, please check the dimensions first. We want it to work for you. We really do.

Can I leave it in my car on a hot day?

No. Please don't. It's made from PLA, a plant-derived plastic that does not love heat. Hot cars, direct sunlight, sitting next to a radiator — all bad ideas. Keep it on your desk where it belongs.

Is it a toy?

Legally and officially: no. This is a desk accessory. Not a toy. Small or removable components could be a choking hazard for young children, so please keep it away from them. It's for adults who click things at their desks. You know who you are.

Do the buttons actually do anything?

They click. Gloriously. But no — they don't control your computer, your phone, or any electronic device. The buttons have real clicky mechanical keyboard switches inside for maximum tactile satisfaction, but they're not connected to anything. They just click. Is that enough? We think it's enough.
